Minutes for board meeting held on January 22, 2026
ValleyHi Community Club, Inc
Board members in attendance: Susan Raley, Shane Glasenapp, Danielle Hester Small, Karl Ruether, Dave Schettler, and Siobhan Baird. in person. Jim Neis and Tom Freeburg via zoom.
Call to order: Meeting called to order at 6:30
Water Report:
Update on reservoir presented by Dave Schettler. General conversation regarding costs of adding updating meters to current bid and if additional property will need to be acquired for new reservoir. Contract for tank has been submitted, copies of System Analysis Evaluation on Siting New Reservoir Tank and Booster Pump were provided to the board.
Question regarding who would be paying Subcontractors would be something Dave would take care of and vetting them.
Dave presented contract. Original contract has been updated to reflect payment directly to sub-contractors by VHCC
Additional conversation re: upgraded electrical
Paperwork has been summited to PUD for new meter
Motion by Jim, 2nd by Tom for Karl to sign contract with Dave. All are in favor, motion approved.
Next steps will be a survey, hopefully this winter
Treasurer’s Report
Shane to take role of VP role on ValleyHi Board. Danile moved to, Tom 2nd, approved
Unfinished Business
Mail 3rd letters who have not made any payments by 1/31
New Business
Cashmere Valley Bank (CVB) needs “letter of instruction” that is updated with who is listed on accounts:
Board members listed on current bank accounts are outdated. Peggie Lopez and Susan Raley, Jim Wines need to be removed, Laura Thompsen bookkeeper need to be added (view only)
Action Items
Susan to talk to landowner re: acquiring (minimum) ¼ acre of land (motion was made by the board granting permission) hopefully this will be gifted by the property owner but there is a line item in the current budget if needed.
Next steps will be a survey, hopefully this winter
Tom will removed treasure position from ValleyHi website and Shane will be named as Vice President
