Thanks to Karl and Denise Ruether and a friend of theirs who built the “library”, Valleyhi now has a Lending Library.  It is located just outside the pump house fence.  You can borrow a book from inside the box, and add a book to the box for someone else to borrow.  Borrow a book, leave a book, repeat, and enjoy!

Can’t make it to the library?  North Central Washington Libraries has added a Bookmobile stop in Valleyhi.  The Bookmobile will be parked in the parking lot near the pond the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, beginning Feb 14, 2025.  If you are a resident of Chelan County, you can sign up for a free library card and receive access to the entire NCW Library collection of adult, young adult, and children’s materials – including books, audio books, music, DVDs, take home craft kits, magazines, and access free Wi-Fi.  You can search their catalog ahead of time at ncwlibraries.org to place holds on items for pick up at this Community Bookmobile location right here in Valleyhi.
